A friend took us out to eat at the Rusty Bucket. He lives near and really likes the place.
The place is very reminescent of an Applebees, Chilis, Fridays, etc. It is the winning formula of some tables and a big bar area.
Our waitress was very nice and very knowledgeable about the beer selection. But she got waylayed by a large party and forgot about some of the things that we asked for, like a shot and some parmesan cheese.
The food was also similar in types that would be offered at an Applebees or Fridays, but was a solid notch higher in quality. It also cost a couple of extra bucks.
My friend recommended I get the Porterhouse. I ordered it Medium Rare with mashed potatoes as my side. They did not have baked potatoes, nor did a salad come with my meal. The cost was 19 bucks for a big steak and a pint. My steak was very good and so was the mashed potatoes.
Overall I give this place a good solid 4 stars out of five.
